By commissioning artwork from Kelsey Lester at Pawtraits By Kelsey, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. 

1. Commission Agreement
Kelsey Lester at Pawtraits By Kelsey specialises in custom portrait art of pets upon request.
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total commission price is required to secure the booking. The balance will be payable upon completion and approval of the artwork.
You are welcome to review Kelsey Lester’s previous work displayed on the website to understand the style and quality of work provided. 

2. Changes and Satisfaction
Every effort will be made to ensure your satisfaction with the final artwork. If you are not entirely happy with the piece, reasonable changes will be made to meet your expectations.
If, after reasonable adjustments, you remain dissatisfied with the artwork, you agree to forfeit the 50% deposit and no further payment will be required. The remaining balance will not be due. 

3. Refunds and Cancellations
Due to the custom and highly personal nature of commissioned artwork, refunds of deposits are not provided under any circumstances.
Should you choose to cancel the commission after work has begun, the deposit will not be refunded. 

4. Delivery and Packaging
All artwork will be packaged securely with protective wrapping. Each piece will be marked with "DO NOT BEND" to ensure proper handling.
Delivery is by 'signed for first-class' post unless otherwise agreed. While every effort will be made to protect the artwork during shipping, Kelsey Lester at Pawtraits By Kelsey cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage caused by postal services.

5. Intellectual Property Rights
Kelsey Lester at Pawtraits By Kelsey retains the copyright to all commissioned artwork unless otherwise agreed in writing.
You may not reproduce, sell, or distribute the artwork without prior consent. 

6. Compliance with Distance Selling Regulations
Under the Distance Selling Regulations 2000, custom-made goods are exempt from the right to cancel. This includes commissioned artwork. Once the deposit is made and work commences, cancellation and refund rights do not apply. 

7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of England and Wales courts.
